2.1 You need to be an active subscriber to SimplyCook to be eligible to purchase a SimplyCook Supper Club membership.
2.2 We accept the payment method that is associated with your SimplyCook subscription.
2.3 By purchasing a membership to the SimplyCook Supper Club you are agreeing to these terms & conditions. Membership is available as a 3-month, 6-month or 12-month term, as selected at the point of purchase. Your membership, and the benefits associated with it, are valid for the duration of the term you purchase, after which they end unless you purchase a new term (see section 5).
2.4 By purchasing membership, you expressly request that the membership benefits begin during the cooling-off period. If you use any membership benefit during that period, you may lose your right to cancel in accordance with applicable law.
2.5 Club membership is non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder who purchased it.
2.6 Your Supper Club membership is linked to your SimplyCook subscription. If you cancel your SimplyCook subscription, or it otherwise ends, your Supper Club membership and all associated benefits — including any price lock — end at the same time (see section 6).
2.7 We reserve the right to refuse a repeat purchase of membership to SimplyCook Supper Club.
3.1 Your membership entitles you to free delivery on all subscription orders containing 4 recipe kits. We commonly refer to this as a 'box'.
3.2 Orders shipped using our 'Ship it now' feature are considered a subscription order and will benefit from the free delivery service.
3.3 Membership includes priority access to selected products and stock, and any further benefits described on the Supper Club page from time to time.
3.4 Membership may include a price lock on your subscription box, as set out in section 4.
3.5 You can order as many boxes as you wish during your membership term, subject to a fair use policy. Free delivery applies to an average of one box per week over your membership term — that is, up to 12 boxes on a 3-month term, 24 boxes on a 6-month term, and 48 boxes on a 12-month term. This limit applies across your term as a whole rather than week by week, so ordering more than one box in a given week is fine provided your total stays within the applicable limit. Boxes ordered beyond this limit may be charged standard delivery.
4.1 For as long as your membership remains continuous, we will hold the price of your core subscription box at the price in effect when your lock began. Your box price will not rise for the duration of your lock, even if our standard prices increase.
4.2 Founding members. The first 7500 customers to hold a Supper Club membership under these revised terms — including existing members who continue their membership — will have their box price held at £9.99 until 31 December 2027, provided their membership remains continuous. Places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis.
4.3 Other members. Where the founding allocation no longer applies, your lock holds the standard box price in effect at the point your lock began, for as long as your membership remains continuous.
4.4 What the lock covers. The lock applies to the price of your standard subscription box only. It does not apply to one-off purchases, add-ons, or any product or service outside your standard box.
4.5 Continuity and grace period. The lock applies only while your membership is continuous. A gap of up to 7 days between membership terms — for example, caused by a failed or delayed payment — will not break your continuity or void your lock. A gap longer than this will end your lock.
4.6 If your lock ends. If your membership lapses beyond the grace period, if you cancel, or when the founding period ends on 31 December 2027, your price lock ends and your subscription box will move to our then-current standard price.
5.1 Membership does not renew automatically. To continue your membership and its benefits after your term ends, you must purchase a new term.
5.2 Before your term ends we will contact you so that you can choose whether to purchase a new term.
5.3 To keep your benefits — including your price lock — without interruption, you must purchase a new term before your current one ends, or within the grace period described in clause 4.5.
6.1 By you. You may cancel your membership at any time. Subject to the cooling-off provisions in clause 2.4, your membership and its benefits continue until the end of the term you have paid for, after which they end and are not refunded.
6.2 When your membership ends — whether by cancellation, by lapsing beyond the grace period, or because your SimplyCook subscription ends — you will lose all Supper Club benefits, including your price lock, and your subscription box will move to our then-current standard price.
6.3 By us. SimplyCook reserves the right to cancel your membership to the Supper Club if:
6.3.1 we consider you in breach of our terms and conditions;
6.3.2 we consider you to be abusing the fair use policy of the membership benefits; or
6.3.3 we find that the benefits of membership have been obtained fraudulently.
7.1 We may change the benefits of membership, our prices, or these terms and conditions. Where a change materially affects your membership, we will give you notice in accordance with your rights under applicable law before it takes effect.
7.2 We may change our standard subscription prices from time to time. Any such change will not affect the price held under an active price lock for the duration of that lock, as set out in section 4.
